I wish that I had known sooner that I could easily earn gift cards and paypal payments and free merchandise, coupons, etc., on the internet.  (Seek and ye shall find, right?)

My friend, I want to help you find the good windfalls that I have searched out.

However:  there are many pitfalls and time-wasters that I also want to help you avoid.  Trust me, you don’t want to go around and around in circles being non-productive and getting frustrated.

So, let me share with you some of my favorite sites for earning free gifts (good stuff like my Paris ipad cover pictured above!!), Amazon.com gift cards, cash via paypal, and sites for finding freelance work in your niche.

How to earn free Amazon.com gift cards

One of the easiest things to do to earn a little extra online is to use Bing as your search engine.  If you create a (free!!) account on Bing, you can earn points each day and be rewarded with gift cards.  I prefer the Amazon gift cards, and if you perform 10 mobile searches (on your cellphone or ipad/tablet) and 15 PC searches (on your desktop computer) per day, you can earn roughly two to three $5 gift cards from Amazon each month.  (Actually, technically it is every other search that counts as a point, but–it is easy, it is straightforward, and you can instantly see your points adding up.)  You can also take their fun little daily quizzes to learn info about presidents, inventors, etc.   (They aren’t like most online quizzes, though; just three educational questions, which you can search to find the answers for if you don’t know.  No one is spamming you or trying to sell you anything.)

How to receive free, yet excellent-in-quality items

Another lovely way to receive good gifts is to create an AMZreviewTrader account, which is how I got the beautiful Paris ipad cover pictured in my photo above.   It was practically free (I think it was $2), for the courtesy of a review, which I had fun posting online with the pictures that inspired me to write this blog article!!!!  Normally, I would have had to pay for the shipping of the case as well, but I just happened to also have signed up for a free one-month trial of Amazon Prime, which gives you free shipping on items listed as “Prime” eligible.  The great thing is that I earned points from another website for signing up for the free Prime trial!!

What I love about doing these free gifts and trial offers and online earning opportunities is that once you try a product or service, you know if it is worth its salt or not, and whether you would do it again and recommend it to your friends. A few sites are in fact very positive ways to supplement your income or resources for getting free products, etc.  (Now, I am not looking for “a free lunch” or trying to capitalize on  others’ misfortunes; I just want to be wise with the stewardship of my time and resources, and if a product is of a very high quality, I am quite loyal and willing to pay a fair price for it after experiencing its justice.)  I want to give you the privilege of enjoying the same good opportunities that I have been grateful for, so I am only listing those sites which I actually came away from thinking, “Nice!!  That was awesome!!  A step in the right direction!!”

The site on which I earned points for signing up for the free one-month trial of Amazon Prime is called Swagbucks, and many people online say that they really like it.  Honestly, I have found the surveys to be somewhat frustrating, since most of the time the survey ended up telling me, “Sorry!!  You don’t qualify for this particular survey, but here’s another one you can check out.”

We have to make the most of the time that is given us, and I choose to invest my time in worthwhile endeavors that will edify my mind and nourish my soul and better my spirit.  So, running around in circles after surveys that don’t profit isn’t appealing to me.  The aspects of Swagbucks that I appreciate are the search engine points, which are periodically awarded you throughout the day after one of your searches, and the “Discover” offers where you can earn points by signing up for free trials of certain promotions.
